Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Tutor Time Learning daycare and preschool in Lake Zurich, IL! We also serve families from Barrington, Deer Park, and Hawthorn Woods! My name is Katie and I am the Center Director. I have over 20 years of experience in the field of early childhood education.

At Tutor Time, we offer Infant care, Preschool and other early education programs that provide a strong foundation for learning and development. We have a curriculum that is designed to meet each child's developmental needs and goals, as well as enrichment programs that emphasize health and nutrition. We also have a Montessori preschool program!

We have wonderful teachers, many of whom hold bachelor's degrees in early childhood education. They each receive ongoing and monthly training.

Discover Our Montessori Classroom

In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.

This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.

I have worked in Early Childhood Education for over 20 years in various roles. Here at Tutor Time Lake Zurich, we are a community working together to achieve social, emotional and academic growth for our students. I look forward to working together to positively and successfully create a partnership to set your child up for success on their early learning journey!
