Welcome to Tutor Time Okemos Learning Center, located just a few miles from Michigan State University!

Tutor Time is a WONDERFUL place where children receive love, attention, learning and development tools, as well as the opportunity to socialize with their peers. As the director of this facility, I take on the responsibility of overseeing the entire program to ensure that we have the best teachers/staff to make this happen.

Jamie Lindeman, Director

Education: Bachelors in Early Childhood Professional Education

Certifications: CPR and First Aid

As a child I wanted to grow up to become a teacher. During my time at Western Michigan University, I quickly realized that I loved to teach, but also coach and mentor others as well. I was hired at Tutor Time (Portage, MI) in 2015, moved to Lansing in 2019 to become the director at Childtime until it's doors closed in 2021. I then transferred to Tutor Time in Okemos in 2021 to take on the director role. As a team, we are dedicated to ensure that all children are safe and given the best care.

Lisa Andrews, Assistant Director

Education: Associate's Degree in Child Development

Certifications: CPR, First Aid

Since I was a young child, I always wanted to be a teacher. As I grew, I discovered I had a passion for early education. I have been a lead preschool teacher at our DeWitt location, Assistant Director at Childtime from 2019-2021, and I have been in my role here at Tutor Time Okemos since 2021 and enjoy working with teachers to grow the young minds of tomorrow!
