Wondercamp: A Summer of Exploration for All Ages

Wondercamp is a 10-week program designed to spark curiosity and creativity through exciting, themed weeks of exploration. With age-appropriate activities tailored for different developmental stages, your child will embark on a journey of discovery, learning, and fun.

Each Wonder Week focuses on a different topic to keep the program fresh and fun! Here are a few examples of what your child might do while attending Wondercamp, depending on their age.

Toddler and Twos

Experiences for young campers include a big focus on hands-on sensory play. During Wonders of the Garden, for example, we will introduce toddlers and two-year-olds to the joy of plants and growth. Through gardening, outdoor play, and discovery-based activities, children will develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world while engaging in interactive learning opportunities.

Early Preschool, Preschool, and Pre-K

Preschoolers will dive into even more interactive learning with Wonders of the Garden. Together, we’ll explore plants, their uses, and the role plants have in their daily lives. Through hands-on activities like planting seeds, observing plant growth, and creating nature-inspired artwork, children will develop scientific thinking, creativity, and patience. The curriculum also incorporates literature, community events, and social-emotional learning to provide a well-rounded experience.

School-Age Students

Older campers will embark on a deeper exploration of the natural world, engaging in more complex scientific concepts through Wonders of Nature. Students will learn about biology, geology, and ecosystems while engaging in outdoor experiences that promote observation and critical thinking. The program encourages independent exploration, allowing children to experiment with art, science, and storytelling inspired by nature.
